Despite presenting several ideas that might be interesting to explore, the movie lacked focus and I didn't really leave the theater feeling much of anything at all. The lighting and framing was generally fantastic but as a whole I was hoping for something more.

Certainly a weird, unique, dark comedy about a artificial robot that is made to be a friend who gets picked up by a teenage girl and her family. However, she is an older model which brings brings flaws to an already flawed family. Very entertaining and well done by Jenna Ortega portraying the robot. It’s a fun yet cringe yet sad and humorous and happy film. As the robot helps this teenager through some bad times.

cinema #movie #movielovers🎬 Non so perché dalle recensioni questa pellicola sia bistrattata, la diatriba libro a film sembra il filo conduttore della polemica,ma non ho letto quindi il mio parere vale solo per ciò che ho visto. Jenna Ortega carries it with one of my favorite performances of hers: expressive, funny, and much more complete than she’ll get credit for. Taika Waititi keeps his humor under control, and those light, kindly comedic bits…

"Klara" (Jenny Ortega) is the last in a long line of increasingly redundant personal robots whose hopes of being sold are dwindling by the days that she spends in the window of their shop with her colleagues. Then, out of the blue, she espies "Josie" (Mia Tharia) who is out shopping with her mother (Amy Adams) for that very thing. Shunning the more advanced models, she convinces "Chrissy" to buy her the older version and next thing "Klara" is…
