Celloman Brings Unique Sound

Ivan Hussey, a British cellist and composer from London, began his musical journey as a session player at 17 with the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra. He later launched his project Celloman in 2001 with the release of the album Aquador, which marked the beginning of his exploration of jazz, world music, and classical textures.

Celloman's music is characterised by its unique blend of styles, with Hussey's arpezzato technique adding a distinctive touch to his compositions. The project has released 10 albums, including The Jazz Sessions, which features a cello trio and showcases Hussey's ability to craft intimate and melodic soundscapes. With a career spanning over 300 albums and collaborations with artists such as Mick Jagger and Jay-Z, Hussey's experience and versatility shine through in his music.
