Royal Ballet's Alice In Wonderland

The Royal Ballet's production of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland originated on stage in 2011, with choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and a score by Joby Talbot. This production combines contemporary soundworlds with sweeping melodies, drawing on 19th-century ballet scores. The result is a unique blend of music and dance that brings the classic tale to life.

At the centre of the story is Alice, who follows a white rabbit down a rabbit hole and enters a world of strange creatures and curious events. She encounters the charming Knave of Hearts, who is on the run for stealing tarts, and experiences a series of confusing and fantastical events. The production features wildly imaginative designs by Bob Crowley, which draw on puppetry, projections, and other techniques to create a wonderfully real Wonderland.

The Royal Ballet's production of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland will be shown at the Duke of York's Picturehouse in Brighton on Tuesday, 23 March 2027. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This production brings together world-class dance with enchanting family entertainment, making it a great event for all ages.
