Brighton Black Groove Album Release

Black Groove's second album, Work Yourself to the Bone, is set to be released on 13 November 2026, and to celebrate, the band will be performing at the Green Door Store in Brighton on Monday, 2 November 2026. • The band's sound is described as 'chaos sludge n' doom from the south east', with thick, grimy riffs and a doom-laden presence. • Black Groove has shared bills with notable metal bands such as EyeHateGod, Bongzilla, and Conan, and has played festivals like Desertfest. • The album was recorded live with producer and engineer Matt Pugh at Brighton Electric, and a portion of the profits will be donated to Survivors' Network, a Sussex charity supporting survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
