Year One SEP Event

Team Domenica was founded in 2016 by Baroness Rosa Monckton, inspired by her youngest daughter Domenica, who has Down Syndrome. The charity provides supported employment opportunities, aiming to enable participants to achieve their full potential and gain meaningful employment. Its range of services includes college information, candidate resources, and career guidance.

The programme, Year One – SEP, is part of Team Domenica's services and is designed to help individuals gain work experience and skills in a supportive environment. On Saturday, 31 October 2026, the event will take place at North Star Brighton, Brighton.

Team Domenica has a strong track record of success, with 84% of its candidates achieving paid work, and 94% maintaining their role for over a year. The charity works with 60 employers across Sussex to create accessible work placements and employment opportunities, and provides ongoing support to candidates and their employers.
