Swing into Brighton
Vocalist Dave Williams brings his unique sound to Bohemia Brighton, blending swing, jazz, and popular music. With a career spanning releases and performances across the globe, Williams is a talent to watch.
Born and raised in Brighton, Dave Williams began his musical journey at a young age, studying trumpet and piano before discovering his passion for singing. His early days as a vocalist on the Brighton scene laid the foundation for a career that would take him to venues across the UK, France, Spain, Germany, and New York.
Williams' music is a testament to his eclectic tastes, with releases ranging from the tribute album England Swings to the jazz and blues EP Reality, and the swing-style album Dave Williams Sings & Swings. His latest EP, Reflection, is a personal and introspective collection of tracks, arranged with Roy Hilton and featuring a large group of local musicians.
On Thursday, 26 November 2026, Dave Williams will perform at Bohemia Brighton, with a selection of swing, jazz, and popular music accompanied by Carl Greenwood on piano, Bobby Worth on drums, and Nigel Thomas on double bass. Tickets are on sale with the button beside the article.
