Sussex Festival of Ideas Comes to Brighton

At the Sussex Festival of Ideas, visitors will engage with a wide range of topics through talks, events, workshops, conversations, screenings, and performances. The festival programme includes a screening of Lizzie Thynne's new documentary about film pioneer Jill Craigie and a closing keynote presentation by Gary Younge on statues, cultural memory, and empire.

The festival is organised by the School of Media, Arts and Humanities, and aims to fashion new ways of thinking about the past, present, and future through the transformative power of the arts and humanities. With a diverse range of topics, including black identities, inequality, and climate change, the festival offers something for those interested in exploring new ideas and perspectives.

The Sussex Festival of Ideas takes place from Monday, 29 March 2027 to Wednesday, 31 March 2027 at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts in Brighton. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
