Brighton Drama Festival

The University of Sussex Drama Finalists Performance Festival 2024 will showcase an incredible range of performances, including works about food, the end of the world, and mental health. With 12 creative works on offer, the festival is a testament to the diversity and ambition of the students. From performances to installations, the programme is set to impress with its bold and genre-redefining works.

The festival is the culmination of the students' Independent Research Project: Practical module, where they develop an original performance that demonstrates their advanced-level research skills. This module allows students to put into practice the creative and critical skills they have acquired throughout their degree, resulting in a unique and exciting programme.

The event will take place on Monday, 26 April 2027, at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts in Brighton. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With 40 students presenting their work, this festival is a great opportunity to see the talent and creativity of the next generation of performers and artists.
