Are you ready for a dose of intense noise-rock and post-punk music? Gurriers, an Irish guitar quintet, is set to perform at Where Else? in Margate on Sunday, 1 November 2026. Their music tackles themes of digital age existentialism, online narcissism, youth disillusionment, and sociopolitical commentary, making for a thought-provoking and energetic live show.

The band has built a reputation for their high-energy performances, having played at SXSW London 2025 and toured extensively across Europe. Their debut album, "Come and See," was praised for its political bite and restless energy, with reviewers linking it to Irish peers such as Fontaines D.C. and Gilla Band. Support for the Margate show comes from Nerves.

Gurriers' second album, "Nobody's Coming To Save You," was released in September 2026 to critical acclaim, with reviewers describing it as a forceful, politically charged record that pushes their sound harder. The band's live show is loud, abrasive, and built around frontman Dan Hoff, making for an unforgettable experience. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
