Babeslam's Final Showdown
The popular poetry slam is coming to an end after eight years, and its final show is set to be a memorable one. With a twist on the traditional format, 10 performers will compete for the Babeslam title, and special guests Harry Baker and Blondey will make an appearance.
Hailing from Margate, ELZ, the founder of Babeslam, has been blending songs, poems, and stand-up to create a unique experience for audiences. • The final Babeslam show will feature 10 performers competing for the title, with each performance scored by three random members of the audience. • Special guests Harry Baker, the UK and world grand slam champion, and Blondey, the last winner of Babeslam, will add an extra layer of excitement to the event. • Performers can use the theme "ALL I WANT 4 XMAS IS U!!!!" as inspiration for their 3-minute performances, which can be poetry, performance, or comedy.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 15 December 2026, at Where Else? in Margate. Tickets are on sale, and to get yours, simply click the button beside this article.
