Brighton Hosts Community Chorus

People will have the chance to explore a wide range of songs, from past and present, while developing their harmony work, sheet music reading, and blending skills with a group. The Community Chorus, normally based at Sunderland Empire Theatre, is a community choir designed for individuals aged 50 and above, and it will be hosting an event at the Theatre Royal Brighton.

The choir's approach is inclusive, with no experience necessary to participate. This makes it an ideal opportunity for those who have always been interested in singing but never had the chance to try it. The fact that classes are typically £6 per week, paid monthly, also makes it an accessible activity for those who want to develop their musical skills without breaking the bank.

The Community Chorus has multiple performance opportunities throughout the year, which gives participants a chance to showcase their talents and gain confidence in their abilities. The event at the Theatre Royal Brighton will be a unique chance for individuals to be a part of this community choir experience.

The event will take place on Friday, 27 November 2026, at the Theatre Royal Brighton in Brighton. Tickets are on sale with the button beside the article.

The Community Chorus event offers a great opportunity for people to meet new friends who share similar interests, while also developing their musical skills. By attending this event, individuals can expect to have a fun and engaging experience, and potentially discover a new hobby or passion.
