Polo Lounge Hits Margate
Get to know Polo Lounge, a four-piece indie/alternative rock band from Canterbury, as they prepare to perform in Margate. With their unique sound and energetic live performances, they're definitely one to watch.
Polo Lounge began as a solo venture by Tom Rich in 2024, but it wasn't long before the project expanded to include Courtland Adams, Oscar Saunders, and George McGorrin, forming a four-piece indie and alternative rock band.
Their music is a fusion of nu-rave energy and indie rock, with tracks like L.A.F.S showcasing their full-throttle sound and Casio-style synths. In contrast, Paradise is a straighter indie rock number with math-rock guitars and borderline emo vocals. Local listings describe their sound as post-punk rhythms with gritty, immersive layers.
On Friday, 30 October 2026, Polo Lounge will be performing at Where Else? in Margate, as part of the KPX Showcase: Polo Lounge & Friends. Tickets are with the button beside the article. With their unique sound and energetic live performances, Polo Lounge is definitely a band to watch, and their upcoming show in Margate is not to be missed.
