Babeslam Slam

At Babeslam, you'll see a array of talented performers take the floor, showcasing their skills in poetry, performance, or comedy, all within a strict time limit. This sexy little poetry slam with a twist is the perfect platform for new voices, first-timers, and those coming out of performance hibernation to shine. Each performance will be scored by three random members of the audience, and the highest score wins the coveted Babeslam title and the chance to headline the next slam.

The event features sets from last Babeslam's winners, Daisy Naisbitt and BLONDY, ensuring a high level of talent and entertainment. ELZ, the founder of Babeslam and a Margate-based multidisciplinary artist and comedian, will host the evening, bringing their unique blend of songs, poems, and stand-up to the stage. With no prior experience needed to sign up for a slot, this event is a great opportunity for emerging performers to gain exposure and confidence.

ELZ has a reputation for hosting exciting and interactive events, including a monthly karaoke night at Where Else? and performing at other Thanet events.
