Join the Queens of SIX in Brighton

The Theatre Royal Brighton in Brighton will play host to the international smash hit musical SIX from Tuesday, 1 December 2026 to Saturday, 5 December 2026. This production tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII, but with a twist - they take centre stage and recount their tales in a celebration of 21st century girl power. The show remixes five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute performance, blending the past with the present.

The six wives, often reduced to a simple rhyme, are given a new voice in this production, one that is rebellious and unapologetic. With their green sleeves and red lipstick, they are a force to be reckoned with, and their stories are ones of heartbreak, trauma, and empowerment. The show is not suitable for young children, with an age guidance of 10+ due to the use of strobe effects, theatrical haze, and loud music, as well as some adult themes.

The production has garnered widespread critical acclaim, winning over 35 international awards, including the Tony Award for 'Best Original Score' and 'Best Costume Design'. It has also been recognised for its powerful message and entertaining performance, with reviewers praising its ability to balance history and fun. The show's success is a testament to its unique blend of music, drama, and historical reinterpretation.
