Organchrist and Chupacabras in Margate
Bristol-based techno act Organchrist is set to perform in Margate alongside Chupacabras, bringing their unique blend of acid-drenched techno to the town. With a history of pushing the boundaries of underground music, Organchrist's live show is not to be missed.

Organchrist originated in Bristol, starting out as a one-man black-metal project in 2013 before evolving into a tape-loop drone live show in 2015. The act eventually transitioned into devotional drum-machine and synth techno from 2016, with Kim Stanley and Joe Gavenlock credited as the duo behind the Skepasti EP on Tutamen.
Their music is characterized by redlined distortion and hints of acid, drawing inspiration from Detroit techno and the work of Jeff Mills. Organchrist's live shows range from seated audio-visual drone rituals to hard, hypnotic techno played on analogue hardware. They have released a handful of cassettes through their own Boundary Element label, as well as Zamzamrec and Tutamen.
On Thursday, 5 November 2026, Organchrist will perform at Where Else? in Margate, alongside Chupacabras, with DJ support from Apogee Joe. Tickets are on sale, available with the button beside the article.
