The idea of nurturing creativity in young minds is one that has been at the forefront of many artistic initiatives, and the Neon Afterschool workshops are no exception. Originating from a desire to provide a platform for children to explore their artistic side, these workshops have evolved into a popular and engaging experience for kids.

The spring term, which starts on Tuesday, 12 January 2027, and runs until Tuesday, 23 March 2027, will see children in years 2, 3, and 4 come together to explore a variety of art forms, techniques, and styles. Under the guidance of in-house practitioners Sadie Hurley and James Middleton, as well as guest artists, the young participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive and stimulating environment.

At the Quarterhouse in Folkestone, the Neon Afterschool workshops will provide a unique chance for children to express themselves and showcase their talents. With the option to learn from artists working in spoken word, visual arts, puppetry, and more, this is an experience not to be overlooked. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
