Folkestone Welcomes The Joe Bulley Band

The Joe Bulley Band is coming to the Quarterhouse in Folkestone on Saturday, 5 December 2026, to host Christmas Rockaoke, an event that lets you front a live rock band. Joe Bulley, a songwriter, composer, and producer from London, now based in Folkestone, Kent, performs with a five-piece band that blends alternative rock, indie, and electronica into a sharp, cinematic sound. His music is influenced by notable artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, and Tom Waits.

The Joe Bulley Band has headlined Compass Festival and shared stages with prominent bands like The Rifles, Dancehall, and Bob Log III. Joe Bulley's debut EP, The Ugly Boy, was released on Chatter Box Records in September 2025, and he has since released another EP, Soft Shell, in September 2026. His music often features sardonic storytelling and lush harmonies, making for a unique sound.

At the Christmas Rockaoke event, you'll have the chance to choose from over 150 songs, ranging from classic rock to pop anthems, indie favourites, metal, punk, and more. The band has learnt nearly 200 songs for people to perform live with them, so you're sure to find something that suits your taste.
