Ronnie, Reggie & Me took place 2 Nov 2026 at Assembly Hall Theatre (Tunbridge Wells).

Fred Dinenage's career in broadcasting began in Birmingham, where he was born in 1942, and he started out as a teaboy at the Birmingham Evening Mail before moving into television at Southern Television in the 1960s. He went on to present children's programmes such as How and later spent 38 years as a news anchor for ITV Meridian. However, it's his connection to the Kray twins that brings him to the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Monday, 2 November 2026, to share his story in Ronnie, Reggie & Me.

Dinenage's association with the Krays began in the early 1980s, when Reggie wrote to him after a TV report on a hospital fundraising appeal. This led to him visiting both brothers in prison and eventually ghostwriting their autobiographies, My Story and Our Story. He was one of the few people granted access to their inner circle, giving him a unique perspective on their lives.

The show, hosted by broadcaster Alex Dyke, will feature untold stories and rare moments from Dinenage's time with the Krays, including recordings made during his visits to Ronnie at Broadmoor. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
