The idea of creating a theatrical experience specifically for parents with babies as young as a few months old is a bold one, and A Tale of Us, a brand new play from Tiny & Tall Productions, does just that. On Thursday, 5 November 2026, the show will be performed at The Alexander Centre in Faversham, with two sessions at 11am and 2pm.

The play, written by Sharon Kanolik and directed by Jade Lewis, follows Ivy through her first year as a mother, blending drama with multi-sensory playtime in a beautifully designed environment. The show's seaside theme is woven throughout, from Ivy's discovery of her pregnancy by the sea to the magical, interactive reveal at the end.

Tiny & Tall Productions, based in Bristol, has a reputation for creating theatrical experiences for people of all ages, and A Tale of Us is no exception. The company's Artistic Director, Tessa Bide, describes the show as a welcoming space where parents do not have to worry about their baby making noise, and where the script aims to make parents feel seen without judgement. Tickets are on sale, available with the button beside the article.
