Are you ready for a musical that will have you laughing out loud and humming the tunes for weeks? The Book of Mormon, created by comedy duo Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is a hilarious and thought-provoking show that breathes life into the absurdities of Mormon dogma.

The musical follows two LDS missionaries sent to a remote Ugandan village, where they encounter harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord. With lyrics guaranteed to have you weeping with laughter, this show is a real standout.

Trey Parker, the genius behind the animated hit South Park, co-wrote The Book of Mormon with Robert Lopez, and the result is a staggering success that has won numerous awards, including nine Tony Awards and a Grammy Award. The show's satirical take on Mormon missionaries in Uganda reflects a long-standing fascination with the religion in Parker's work.

The Book of Mormon will be at the Theatre Royal Brighton, Brighton, from Saturday, 31 October 2026, until Saturday, 23 January 2027. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
