Mozart's Così Fan Tutte Hits the Big Screen

Are you ready to experience a classic opera with a modern twist? The Royal Opera's production of Così Fan Tutte is set to be screened at Vue Cinema Thanet - Westwood Cross, Cross, on Monday, 22 February 2027.

This production, directed by Netia Jones, features a young and exciting cast, including Louise Alder, Simone McIntosh, Mingjie Lei, and Huw Montague Rendall, with Gerald Finley and Emily Pogorelc in key roles. The story follows two young men who hatch a plan to test the fidelity of their girlfriends, leading to a complex game of seduction and power.

The opera, which has lost none of its impact since its premiere in 1790, is conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock, who brings out the exquisite melodies that underpin the provocative themes. With its blend of 18th-century romantic trickery and high-tech deceit, this production is sure to engage audiences. Tickets are on sale with the button beside the article.
