Create Christmas Magic for Others

What inspires you to create something special for someone else this Christmas? On Sunday, 22 November 2026, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable, you can join a unique card making workshop where you'll learn to paint a Christmas shape and decorate cards in your own style. Led by the talented Kate from Peggy & Kate, this workshop is designed for children aged 4-11 years, who will get to keep one of their creations while the rest will be delivered to a care home in Whitstable.

The workshop is part of the Children for Community initiative, which aims to provide opportunities for children and their families to volunteer together, regardless of age, ability, or financial means. This special event allows participants to write their Christmas wishes inside the cards, bringing a personal touch to the gifts. All materials are provided, and a donation is welcome, making it accessible to everyone.

Kate, the lead artist, will also have her own cards available for sale, offering a great chance for parents to do some Christmas shopping. To be a part of this heartwarming event, tickets are with the button beside the article. By joining this workshop, you'll not only create something special but also contribute to spreading joy and magic to the elderly community in Whitstable.
