Bob Drury Classical Guitar Greatest Hits

The sound of classical guitar is unmistakable, with its warm, expressive tones and intricate fingerwork, and Bob Drury is one of its most accomplished exponents. Based in Kent, England, Drury has spent years honing his craft, from his early days playing pop and rock in bands to his later studies at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he graduated with an MA in Music Performance.

With a repertoire that spans the lyrical and romantic to the virtuosic, Drury's music is a perfect introduction to the classical guitar for newcomers, while also offering a deeply satisfying experience for seasoned music lovers. His programme for the concert at The Horsebridge Arts Centre on Sunday, 6 December 2026, features some of the most beloved and instantly recognisable works ever written for the instrument, including Cavatina, Recuerdos de la Alhambra, and Romanza.

Drury's impressive discography includes three solo guitar CDs, and he has also self-published original pieces for the instrument.
