Oyster Shell Christmas Decorations

Cathy and Helen, the tutors from ARTeStart, have a passion for transforming ordinary objects into extraordinary creations, which is reflected in their upcoming workshop. They will be sharing their expertise with participants, teaching them how to turn oyster shells into unique decorations or gifts.

• Participants will learn how to use paint to add colour and personality to their oyster shell decorations. • The technique of decoupage will also be covered, allowing participants to add intricate designs and patterns to their creations. • A touch of gold will be added to give the decorations a luxurious and eye-catching finish.

The workshop, taking place on Tuesday, 15 December 2026, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable, is aimed at adults and includes all necessary materials. To join in on the creative fun, tickets are with the button beside the article. With guidance from Cathy and Helen, participants will leave the workshop with their own specially crafted oyster shell decorations, perfect for the Christmas season.
