Whitstable Art Session

People will learn to create a detailed and dramatic charcoal drawing of a horse at the Studio Sessions workshop. The class will cover the processes involved in producing such a drawing, from the initial stages of ensuring accuracy to the later stages of adding tone and detail.

The workshop will be led by Simon Postgate, who will guide participants through the techniques employed in the class. These techniques include using tried and tested methods such as measuring and using a grid to achieve accuracy.

The event will take place on Saturday, 21 November 2026, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This workshop is an opportunity for participants to develop their drawing skills and create a unique piece of art under the guidance of an experienced tutor.
