The Horsebridge Arts Centre (Whitstable)

The Horsebridge Arts Centre has its roots in the local community, and its latest project, Go Slow, is a testament to this. By working with residents of Sea Street, the centre aims to encourage cars to slow down and create a unique piece of street artwork in the process.

• The project will be led by local artist Camille Serisier, who will host eight free workshops for children aged 5-11 years old. • The workshops will cover a range of creative activities, including drawing and painting, making props and scenery, and post-production techniques. • Children can attend all eight workshops or pick and choose the ones that interest them most, with those under 7 years old required to be accompanied by a parent or carer.

The Go Slow project will run from Sunday, 4 April 2027 to Thursday, 15 April 2027 at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This is a great opportunity for local children to get creative, learn new skills, and contribute to a project that will have a positive impact on their community.
