Investigate Infamous Murders

The concept of exploring historical murders through interactive discussion and evidence analysis originated from a desire to engage true-crime lovers in a unique learning experience.

• Participants will examine original documents from the National Archives to inform their investigations. • Each week, the group will focus on a different infamous murder in British history, considering the evidence and debating the prime suspect's guilt. • The course, led by Graham Birrell, will run for 6 weeks, allowing participants to develop their detective and historical skills through discussion and analysis.

The History Sessions: The Whitstable Murder Club will take place at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable on Tuesday, 16 March 2027. Tickets are with the button beside the article. By joining this course, true-crime enthusiasts can gain a deeper understanding of historical murders and develop their critical thinking skills in a highly interactive and discussion-based environment.
