Explore Your Creativity at Discover Sessions

On Friday, 30 October 2026, The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable will launch its Discover Sessions, a series of creative activities designed to help people learn new skills and build confidence in their artistic abilities. The sessions will run until Tuesday, 16 March 2027, providing a lengthy period for participants to engage with the programme and develop their talents.

The Discover Sessions will feature a variety of activities, including Studio Sessions, which will take place in the centre's large and well-equipped studio. Here, participants will have access to a range of materials and equipment, as well as tea and coffee, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment. The Studio Sessions are perfect for those looking to try their hand at a new skill or hobby, with the guidance of experienced local artists and teachers.

In addition to the Studio Sessions, The Horsebridge Arts Centre will also be offering History Sessions and Music Sessions. The History Sessions will commence with a course led by Graham Birrell, exploring themes in Whitstable's town history. Meanwhile, the Music Sessions will feature a 10-week Jazz course, taught by Richard Rozze, starting in September. These sessions will provide a great opportunity for people to learn about and engage with different aspects of the arts, from local history to music.

The Discover Sessions are open to everyone, regardless of their level of experience or expertise. The centre's great community of local artists and teachers will be on hand to provide support and guidance, helping participants to build their confidence and develop their creative skills. For members of The Horsebridge, such as Great Friends or Best Friends, there is also the added benefit of receiving up to 10% off the Discover Sessions.
