Discover GCSE Art at Free Session

On Thursday, 5 November 2026, The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable will host a free GCSE Art Information Session, run by experienced art teacher Nicky Hodge. The session, which takes place from 2:30 to 3:30pm, is aimed at parents, carers and students considering GCSE Art & Design, including those who are home-educated. Tickets are available with the button beside the article.

Nicky Hodge, who has 26 years of secondary art teaching experience, will explain how the GCSE Art & Design course runs week by week, including the time commitment required in class and at home. She will also cover how coursework and the exam work, as well as the costs involved, including class fees and exam entry. Examples of student work will be available to view, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

ArtHouse26, which is run by Nicky Hodge, provides art tutoring for Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-level students, including those who are home-educated. The organisation has a strong track record, with 100% GCSE grades 5-9 and 100% A-level grades A*-B achieved over the past six years. The GCSE Art Information Session is a valuable opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the course and what to expect. The session will take place at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable, and booking is essential due to limited space.
