People will learn the basics of Bollywood dance in a clear and methodical way, improving their coordination, fitness, and memory through a series of progressively challenging exercises. The classes, led by Ash Mukherjee, will take place every week from Saturday, 31 October 2026, until Saturday, 5 December 2026, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable.
Ash Mukherjee, the tutor behind Bollyjoy, has an impressive background in dance, having trained in Bharatanatyam and ballet. He has also had notable performances, including being handpicked by Michael Jackson's team and appearing on BBC 3's 'Move Like Michael Jackson'. Currently, Ash teaches South Asian dance at Canterbury Christ Church University and runs BollyJoy gatherings on the Kentish coast.
