Crafty Giveaway

On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable will launch its Pop-UP Crafts Bank in Gallery 2, running until Sunday, 15 November 2026. The pop-up has been made possible thanks to generous donations from the community and aims to help pass on these materials to makers, community projects, and anyone wanting to experiment with new ideas.

• A wide selection of fabrics, haberdashery, and craft supplies will be available, alongside lots of festive craft materials for Christmas projects and handmade gifts. • All items are free to take away, but donations are welcome, with proceeds going towards keeping the ARTank running and the Horsebridge charity open. • The event is open to everyone, whether an experienced maker or someone looking to try something new, and is a great opportunity to get creative and support a good cause.

The Pop-UP Crafts Bank is part of The Horsebridge Arts Centre's ArtBank initiative, which collects unwanted arts and crafts materials and offers them on a 'pay what you can' basis. The centre is a registered charity and company, and the event is a testament to its commitment to promoting creativity and sustainability in the community.
