Young Makers Club Explores Art

Are you wondering how to nurture your child's artistic talents and provide them with a creative outlet? The Young Makers Club at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable may be the perfect solution. This informal weekly after-school club, running from Wednesday, 4 November 2026 to Wednesday, 16 December 2026, offers children in school years 3 to 6 the opportunity to learn about different art mediums and explore their own unique style.

Each week, the club will focus on a different topic, with an art or craft project to make and take home. The sessions are designed to be inclusive for young people with disabilities, learning differences, and mental health needs, and are delivered by experienced staff. Parents and guardians can explore the gallery space and shop on the ground floor while their children are in the session.

The Horsebridge Arts Centre, a registered charity, is committed to providing an accessible and creative space for young people. The suggested donation for the Young Makers Club is £5 per child, but families are asked to pay what they can. To find out more and reserve a place, tickets are with the button beside the article.
