Cut Loose

Anne Davison is known for her bold and colourful collages, constructed from her own painted textures and printed material, and now she's sharing her expertise in a high-energy workshop. On Saturday, 31 October, at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in Whitstable, Anne will lead participants in a day of hand-printing, mark-making, and mono-printing to build a stash of rich, textured surfaces.

These unique papers will then be cut, ripped, and layered into bold, one-of-a-kind compositions full of contrast and scale. The workshop is perfect for complete beginners or those with some collage experience, and all materials will be provided.

Anne's approach to collage is playful and experimental, and she's excited to share her techniques with others. With her guidance, participants will leave with the skills and confidence needed to continue exploring collage independently and creatively.
