Eldritch Tech Death from Kent's Shores

Infected Dead hails from the River Medway area of Kent, where they were formed in 2014 out of the ashes of a former project. The band's early years saw them release their debut EP, Archaic Malevolence, in 2017, which was followed by a performance at Bloodstock Festival that same year.

What is Infected Dead's sound like? Their music is a blend of American and European technical death metal, with modern, experimental, and progressive touches, drawing on Lovecraftian dread and anti-cosmic nihilism for inspiration.

How has the band evolved over time? After a hiatus, Infected Dead regrouped in 2024 with a new five-piece line-up, featuring members who have played in notable bands such as Pupil Slicer, Dawnwalker, and Overthrow, bringing a fresh perspective to their music.

What can fans expect from their upcoming show? On Sunday, 6 December 2026, Infected Dead will take to the stage at The Forum Live Music Venue in Tunbridge Wells, alongside Acid Vat and Locusts, delivering their excoriating approach to technical death metal, with tickets available with the button beside the article.
