The Gulls, a Brighton-based rock and roll band, will be performing at the Green Door Store in Brighton on Monday, 2 November 2026. The band, which consists of Will Fairhead, Tali Knight, and Kilian Aubertin, has a reputation for delivering energetic live shows, driven by their fusion of rock, funk, folk, and psychedelia.
The Gulls' story began during the pandemic, when they moved into a motorhome and busked their way around the UK, eventually settling in Brighton. They have since released two full albums, Don't Feed The Gulls and Lavender and Tobacco, as well as an EP, and have become regulars on Brighton's Ship Street, where they often busk. Their music is characterized by driving guitar riffs, soulful and witty lyrics, and a high-energy sound that has earned them a spot on Spotify's Funky Heavy Bluesy playlist.
The band's sound is a unique blend of different styles, with highlights on their album Lavender & Tobacco including Gypsy Dragon, Birds Are Singing, and Life Goes On, which showcase their ability to alternate between acoustic and heavier rock passages.
