Roebucks Ride

The Roebucks' sound is a captivating blend of alt-country, Americana, and blues rock, built on lush three-part harmonies and riffs.

What is the band's background? The Roebucks are a four-piece from Brighton, formed in 2021 when Tom Cotter and Henry Brown, who met at Varndean School, asked Lola Gordon to join them, with Sophie Moloney joining on drums and vocals in 2024.

What kind of music can we expect from them? The Roebucks' music is at times woozy and tender, and at other times earthy and bluesy, with influences from US guitar and harmony bands such as The Grateful Dead and The Mamas and the Papas.

What's next for the band? The Roebucks will be performing at A L P H A B E T in Brighton on Saturday, 12 December 2026, and tickets are with the button beside the article. With an album slated for April 2027, this is a great opportunity to catch them live before their upcoming release.
