Vernon Kay's 90s Dance

Vernon Kay will be performing at Dreamland Margate, Margate, on Sunday, 1 November 2026, and then again on Friday, 19 March 2027, with his BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s show. Vernon Kay is an English broadcaster and former model, born in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and raised in nearby Horwich. He began his career in television in the late 1990s, co-hosting youth shows such as T4 on Channel 4, before moving into game shows and radio.

Vernon Kay's music show, Dance Sounds of the 90s, features dance, electronica, techno, trance, and drum and bass hits from the 1990s. The live tour will include a range of acts from The Shamen and The Prodigy to Snap!, Underworld, JX, and Ultra Nate. Special guest DJ Darren Noguerol will join Kay on the tour, playing underground material before Kay brings in the floorfillers.

Tickets are with the button beside the article. The event at Dreamland Margate is classified as 18+ and is a standing event, with disabled access tickets available on a first come, first served basis. The live show will run for around four to five hours, far longer than the radio programme, and will be a nostalgic night of huge tunes and hands-in-the-air moments.
