60s Sound Revival
Get set for a blast of 60s nostalgia with The Sensational 60s Experience, featuring Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich and more. This ultimate festival of nostalgia will transport you back to the magical decade of music and memories.

The 1960s was a pivotal time for pop music, with its distinctive sound and style that still influences music today. Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich, one of the biggest bands of the decade, will be performing at The Central Theatre, Chatham, on Sunday, 1 November 2026, as part of The Sensational 60s Experience.
Formed in Salisbury, Wiltshire, in 1964, Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich grew out of local Salisbury-area groups from the late 1950s. The band's original members, David Harman (Dave Dee), Trevor Ward-Davies (Dozy), John Dymond (Beaky), Michael Wilson (Mick), and Ian Amey (Tich), were given their nicknames by producers Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley, which became the basis for the band's name.
Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich are known for their catchy and upbeat songs, including "The Legend of Xanadu", "Hold Tight!", "Bend It!", and "Zabadak!". Their music is a quintessential representation of the 1960s pop sound, with its blend of rock, beat, and folk influences. The current line-up, featuring Paul Cornwell, Adrian Fountain, John Hatchman, and Chris Moores, continues to tour and perform the band's classic hits. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
