Cole Porter Classics in High Society

The most swell party of the year is coming to Canterbury, with High Society taking to the stage at The Marlowe Theatre on Saturday, 31 October 2026. This five-star production has been hailed as "pure theatrical escapism" by the Times and features a cast of talented actors, including Helen George, Freddie Fox, and Nigel Lindsay.

Helen George, known for her role as Trixie Franklin in Call the Midwife, leads the cast as glamorous socialite Tracy Lord, a role she has played to great acclaim in the West End and on tour. With a background in musical theatre, George has also sung at prestigious venues such as Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall, and has even been nominated for a Grammy Award for her contribution to the cast recording of Cinderella.

The production features a score overflowing with the best of Cole Porter's songbook, including classics such as Just One of Those Things, Let's Misbehave, and True Love.
