Clare Teal Sings Jazz Classics

Upbeat swing jazz is on its way to Deal, courtesy of the talented Clare Teal. Born in Yorkshire, Clare grew up surrounded by the sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, courtesy of her father's and grandmother's record collections. This early exposure to jazz greats would later influence her own unique style, which blends popular songs and originals from the past 100 years.

Clare's music career took off after she stood in for Stacey Kent at a festival in Llandrindod Wells, leading to a record deal with Candid Records. She has since released several successful albums, including "Don't Talk", which topped the jazz charts and entered the UK Top 20 Albums Chart. Her collaborations with notable artists such as Van Morrison have further cemented her reputation as a talented jazz singer.

On Friday, 13 November 2026, Clare Teal will be performing at The Astor Theatre in Deal, showcasing her incredible vocal range and swing jazz style. The concert will feature songs by legendary artists such as Cole Porter, Ella Fitzgerald, and Van Morrison, as well as some of her own original compositions.
