Behind The Scenes Theatre Workshops

Are you curious about what goes on behind the scenes of a theatre show? The Backstage Youth Theatre workshops offer a chance to learn from experienced professionals and get hands-on experience with various aspects of theatre production. From costume and props making to set design, lighting operation, and stage managing, participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at a range of skills.

The workshops will take place at the Trinity Theatre in Royal Tunbridge Wells, starting on Thursday, 5 November 2026, and running until Thursday, 19 November 2026. Led by experienced, DBS-checked professional youth theatre leaders, the sessions are designed to be fun and educational.

For those who may need financial support, bursaries are available via The Elliott Fund, making the workshops accessible to all.
