GlassBox Theatre (Gillingham)

Are you ready to be inspired by the talents of people with learning disabilities? The Music Man Project, a charity founded in Southend-on-Sea in 2000, has been making a difference in the lives of its members since its inception. The Kent/Medway project, which began in September 2017, has grown from 12 members to running sessions four days a week, providing a platform for people to grow in confidence and showcase their musical abilities.

The Music Man Project is known for its incredible performances, including concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019 and 2024, where they performed alongside hundreds of students from across the UK. With the support of qualified teachers and musicians, the group has become a "big musical family" where everyone is welcome. Their music is a testament to the power of inclusivity and the impact it can have on people's lives.

On Thursday, 10 December 2026, The Music Man Project will return to the GlassBox Theatre in Gillingham for their Christmas Concert, accompanied by members of the City of Rochester Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are with the button beside the article. This festive event promises to be a fabulous evening of music, showcasing the talents of the project's members and spreading Christmas cheer to all who attend.
