Maidstone Welcomes Logan D

As we consider the enduring appeal of drum and bass, one name that consistently comes to mind is Logan D, a London-based DJ, producer, and label owner who has been a driving force in the jump-up scene for over two decades.

With roots in London's pirate radio scene, Logan D began his journey in the 1990s, eventually joining Kool London in 1998 and earning a regular Sunday slot. His passion for jump-up drum and bass led him to found Low Down Deep Recordings in 2006, a label that has since become a respected name in the genre.

Logan D's sound is characterized by its high-energy beats and close connection with the crowd, making his live performances a testament to the power of drum and bass. His production partnership with Dominator has yielded tracks like Giant Killer Bees and Hooligan, while his work with Problem Central, a crew that brings together DJs and MCs, has helped to shape the sound of the scene. On Saturday, 31 October 2026, Logan D will be performing at The Source, Maidstone; tickets are with the button beside the article.
