Earnestly Entertaining

The play's director, Ayshen Irfan, has brought together a fabulous cast to bring to life the characters of Jack, Algernon, and the formidable Lady Bracknell. Set in a sumptuous Victorian world, the play follows the story of two men who lead double lives, adopting the name "Ernest" as they pursue the women they love.

With Wilde's celebrated repartee and farce, the play is sure to delight audiences with its witty dialogue and comedic moments. The characters of wicked Jack and Algy, and the delightfully eccentric Miss Prism, are sure to bring laughter and joy to the stage.

The Importance of Being Earnest will be performed at the New Venture Theatre in Brighton from Sunday, 1 November 2026 to Saturday, 14 November 2026. For tickets and more details, click the button beside this article.
