Draw to the Beat

What sparks your creativity - is it the sound of music or the feel of a pencil in your hand? On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, you can combine both at Fabrica in Brighton, where Duality: Draw to Live Music awaits. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to express yourself through art, inspired by the sounds of VCSB's ambient and mellow set.

The band, featuring Saul Bazley, Tris Claude Houseman, and Ronan Goron, will perform a specially structured set, with prompts to guide your drawing. You'll have the chance to draw the musicians, as well as create abstract pieces inspired by the rhythm and sound. With no prior life drawing experience needed, this workshop is open to all artistic abilities.

A range of drawing materials will be provided, including charcoal, ink, and graphite sticks, along with paper. You can also purchase additional paper with a small cash donation. To keep your creative juices flowing, a selection of drinks and snacks will be available at the bar throughout the evening. For tickets or more details, click the button beside this article.
