10 Nov 2026 – 15 Dec 2026

Fabrica (Brighton)

For those seeking to push the boundaries of their artistic expression, Fabrica's Experimental Life Drawing sessions offer the perfect opportunity. Led by Jane Fordham, an artist with a deep understanding of the space, these sessions invite participants to explore different themes and processes in a calm and expansive environment.

The sessions, which run from Tuesday, 10 November 2026 to Tuesday, 15 December 2026, take place in Fabrica's main art space in Brighton. Here, Jane Fordham choreographs drawing sessions that incorporate the character of the building, found objects, and the seasonally changing light. With a focus on peer learning and support, the group welcomes individuals of all levels, from experienced artists to beginners, who share an interest in experimentation and exploration.

Each session is 3 hours long, with sets of two sessions and occasional all-day alternative sessions that allow for more elaborate set-ups or time-consuming processes. To facilitate creativity, participants can purchase cartridge paper at cost price or bring their own, and sketchbooks are strongly encouraged. Refreshments, including freshly made filter coffee, teas, and biscuits, are also provided to keep energy levels boosted throughout the sessions. Tickets and details for these unique life drawing sessions can be found with the button beside this article.
