Family Film + Workshop: The Muppet Christmas Carol (plus bloopers!) (U)
22 Dec 2026
Fabrica (Brighton)
The idea of bringing The Muppet Christmas Carol to life through a screening and workshop originated from the desire to create a fun and accessible experience for families during the holiday season.
The event features a relaxed screening of the 1992 film, which stars Michael Caine, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo, and is a heartwarming adaptation of Dickens' festive tale. Before the screening, artist Esther Marshall will lead a creative workshop where participants can make their own finger-puppet Muppet using fabric scraps, patterns, and other materials.
On Tuesday, 22 December 2026, Fabrica in Brighton will host this special event, which is designed to be a comfortable and accessible experience for individuals with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other needs. The workshop, led by Esther Marshall, is inspired by the creators of the original Muppets, Jim and Jane Henson, and will provide a fun and creative outlet for participants of all ages.
