The Kid Laroi's Before I Forget Arrives

The Kid Laroi's debut mixtape F*ck Love, released in 2020, marked the beginning of his successful music career, entering the US Billboard 200 and making him the youngest Australian solo act to peak on the ARIA Charts at the time. Born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard in Waterloo, Sydney, he began recording raps on his mother's phone and uploading them to SoundCloud, eventually forming the duo Dream$Team with Adelaide rapper DJ Marcus Jr. in 2015. His Kamilaroi heritage inspired the name "Laroi", which has become synonymous with his music.

The Kid Laroi's music is a blend of pop rap, R&B, and pop, showcasing his versatility as an artist. His breakthrough came with the 2021 collaboration "Stay" with Justin Bieber, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He has since released several successful singles and albums, including his debut studio album The First Time in 2023 and his second album Before I Forget in 2026. The latter peaked among the top five of both the ARIA and Billboard 200 charts and was largely driven by his July 2025 breakup with Tate McRae.

Before I Forget, his latest album, is available for pre-order on Crystal Clear Marble LP and includes tracks such as ME + YOU, JULY 3, and PRIVATE. The album's release date is 06/11/26, and The Kid Laroi will be performing at Resident Music in Brighton on Friday, 6 November 2026. Tickets are with the button beside the article.
