What happens when a child's gift remains stubbornly silent, refusing to respond to even the most energetic attempts to coax it into conversation? This is the starting point for Longnose Puppets' new production, Penguin, based on the award-winning book by Polly Dunbar.
• The show features a range of lively songs by Tom Gray of Gomez that will have everyone joining in. • Ben's antics to get a response from Penguin are sure to entertain, from tickling and funny faces to singing and dancing. • The intervention of a passing lion adds a surprising twist to the story, leading to a heartwarming discovery for Ben.
Polly Dunbar, the creator of the original book, is a renowned author-illustrator with a string of acclaimed titles to her name, including the Tilly and Friends series.
