On Saturday, 14 November 2026, at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts in Brighton, CINECITY will host a special event featuring Adrian Utley, Larry Stabbins, and Mark Sanders performing live to the experimental films of Jeff Keen.

What kind of performance can attendees expect? The trio will create a dynamic soundscape by playing solo, as duos, and together as a trio, responding to Jeff Keen's visually striking films from the BFI GAZWRX collection.

Who are the artists behind this collaboration? Adrian Utley, known for his work with Portishead, and Larry Stabbins, formerly of Working Week, are longtime fans of Jeff Keen and initiated this project with him, which they are now continuing with Mark Sanders.

Why should people attend this event? With its unique blend of improvisational music and experimental film, this event offers a multi-layered and genre-defying experience, with the added introduction by author and curator Jack Sargeant, who will read words provided by Stella Keen.
